The start of Marathon Sofia 2018 will be at 10.00 o'clock in front of "Vasil Levski" National stadium at the cross section of "Evlogi i Hristo Georgievi" Blvd and "Gurko" Str.

42.195 km-start time 10:00 – Red – four laps

21.098 km. -Start time 10:10 – Blue – two laps

10.550 km. – start 10:20 – Green – one lap

Course

Marathon Sofia route is sertified since 2016 and have a category A Certificate issued by (AIMS) and (IAAF) and is under the supervision of BFLA. All results at distance 21.098 km and 42.195 km are recognized by BFLA and are included in all official rankings.

• Participants in fun run 3000 m will make a small lap starting at "Evlogi i Hristo Georgievi" Blvd (Western lane) up to "Tcherni vrah" Blvd ( McDonald's), the runners will turn around and will go back using the Eastern lane of "Evlogi i Hristo Georgievi" Blvd up to the final area in Kniajeska gradina.
• The participants in 10.550 km will make one lap.
• The participants in 21.098 km will make two laps.
• The participants in 42.195 km will make four laps.

Time limit

Time limit for 42.195 km – 5:30 (The traffic opens at 15:30 . After that time, the participants who are still on the course will be asked to continue running on the sidewalks.)
